Tamura Kotaro

Biography

After graduating from Waseda University, graduated from Keio University Graduate School (MBA), Duke University Law School, and Yale University Graduate School. She has an AMP from the University of Oxford and an EMP from the University of Tokyo.

Engaged in M&A brokerage at Yamaichi Securities Co., Ltd. After studying in the United States, he became the president of the Osaka Nichinichi Shimbun. In 2002 he was elected to the House of Councilors and remained a member of the House of Councilors until 2010. He served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Cabinet Office (Economy and Finance, Finance, Re-Challenge, Decentralization) in the first Abe administration.

Yale University Fellow in 2010, Harvard University Research Associate in 2011, and served as the only Japanese researcher at the time at the Rand Corporation think tank, which produced the most Nobel laureates in the world (29). In 2012, he became the first Japanese politician to lead a Harvard Business School case.

Adjunct Professor, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore; Fellow, Global Leadership Institute, University of California, San Diego; Asia Fellow, Milken Institute.

Since 2014, he has been running the Asian Geopolitics Program for business people as an adjunct professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, and over 500 business leaders have completed it over 20 terms. From 2022, he will also preside over the American Geopolitics program at the University of California, San Diego. CNBC commentator, chief advisor for RIMM, a service that visualizes corporate SDGs scores with AI, and advisory board member for GIIS, the world’s largest Indian international school.

He is a limited partner of venture capital firms in the US, Singapore, Israel and Africa.

He is also an angel investor who invests in startups around the world, investing in Web 3.0, climate tech, food tech, robots, and education-related businesses in Silicon Valley, Israel, Africa, Southeast Asia, and India. He has also invested in SpaceX and Twitter.

He is the author of many books, including the best-selling series “Don’t fight stupid even if you come to your head!”, which has sold over 750,000 copies.


Kondoh Munetoshi

Biography

Kondoh completed the Graduate School, The University of Tokyo  (Master of Environmental Studies).
He has led the strategic system and business consulting in the human resource and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) area and also the planning/launching of new businesses at Japan’s largest human resources and sales promotion company. After that, he promoted the newly established client success business in the human resources media field.

Graduated from Ohio State University in the U.S. Completed the Graduate School of the University of Tokyo (Master of Environmental Studies). After working for a major foreign environmental consulting company, he established Profarm Japan Co., Ltd. and assumed the position of president.

After working for Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. and Credit Suisse Japan/Singapore Co., Ltd., he was appointed Senior Vice President at Fujiwara Investment Management Co., Ltd. he is in charge of marketing.
